Bonnie

בוני

בוני נמצאה בגיל שבועיים על רצפה בת"א. התגלתה לה בעיה נוירולוגית שמונעת ממנה לעוף ישר לאורך זמן. וכתוצאה מכך בגיל חצי שנה היא שברה את היד ועברה ניתוח בכנף. בוני אוהבת לשחק בכדורים עם פעמון, ללקק דברים, ובעיקר להתכרבל.

Bonnie was found at the age of two weeks on the pavement in Tel Aviv. She was diagnosed with a neurological problem that prevents her from flying straight for a long period of times. As a result, at the age of six months she broke her wing and had to go through surgery. Bonnie likes to play with bell balls, lick stuff, and especially to snuggle.

Clyde was rescued at the age of 3 weeks, from a cat's mouth in Kfar-Yona. Nowadays his part of a group of wild bats, and returns to the sanctuary once in a while to say hi.

קלייד חולץ בגיל 3 שבועות מפה של חתול בכפר יונה. כיום הוא חלק מלהקה של עטלפי פרא וחוזר מדי פעם הביתה להגיד לנו שלום.

Rosa

רוזה

רוזה הגיעה אלינו עם כנף מרוסקת, וגדלה בבית האומנה שלה, שטיפלה בה באהבה רבה. רוזה גדלה והתחזקה, עד שהגיע הזמן לעבור לבית המחסה ולהשתלב בלהקת עטלפים. רוזה הצטרפה למתחם דיירי הקבע בבית המחסה, משום שמצב הכנף שלה לא מאפשר לה לשוב אל הטבע.

Rosa came to us with a smashed wing, and grew up with her foster mom, who took care of her with a lot of love. Rosa grew and became stronger until it was time to move to the sanctuary and become a part of a bat pack. Rosa joined the Permanent Residents area, because the state of her wing doesn't allow her to go back to nature.

Shmil

שמיל

גור קטנטן שנמצא באסון חדרה, כשהוא עדיין יונק. כאשר מדובר בגורים קטנטנים כאלה, הפטמה של הבקבוק לא יכולה להיכנס לפה ועלולה לפצוע אותם, לכן אנחנו מספיגים צמר גפן בחלב מיוחד שאנחנו מכינים לגורים, ומכניסים אותו לפה של הגור, על מנת שיוכל להמשיך ולינוק.

A tiny bat cub that was found in the Hadera Disaster, still at the nursing age. In young cubs at this age, the nipple of the bottle is too big to fit in their mouth and can injure them, and so we take a small piece of cotton wool and soak it with a special milk we prepare for the young cubs. Then we put it in the cub's mouth so that he can suck the milk from it.

אוליבר

גור ואמו שנמצאו בבת ים. האם כבר הייתה מתה, וצמוד אליה מצאנו גור קטן, מנסה עדיין לינוק. הגור נלקח לבית המחסה שם קיבל חלב, חום ואהבה.

A bat cub found with his mother in Bat Yam. The mother was already dead, and attached to her we found a tiny cub, still trying to suckle. The cub was taken to the sanctuary where he received milk, love and lots of TLC.

Charlie

צ׳ארלי

גור יתום שנמצא בקיבוץ יחיעם שבצפון הארץ.

An Orphaned cub that was found in Kibbutz Yehi'am in the north of Israel.

Mush

מוש

מוש נמצא לאחר התקפת חתול, שהשאיר אותו עם חור עצום באף. לאחר שבועיים החלים מוש החלמה מלאה והחור באף התאחה ונסגר.

Mush was found after surviving a cat attack, that left him with a giant hole in his nose. After two weeks Mush made a full recovery and the wound was healed.

Gizmo

גיזמו

גור שנמצא יחד עם אמו בתל אביב, והאם, על אף שהייתה משותקת, עטפה את הגור בכנפיה ושמרה עליו עד שהגיעו המתנדבים לחלץ אותם.

A baby bat that was found with his mother in Tel Aviv. The mother. despite being paralyzed, wrapped her wings around the baby and kept him safe until the rescuers arrived.

Mimi

מימי

מימי נמצאה על הרצפה עם חורים בכנף, כנראה מהתקפה של חתול. לאחר שיקום וטיפול בבית המחסה מימי החלימה והחורים בכנף נסגרו.

Mimi was found on the pavement with holes in her wing, probably from a cat attack. After a period of rehabilitation in the sanctuary Mimi made a full recovery and the holes in wing were healed and closed.

Marge

מארג׳

מארג׳ נמצאה עלי ידי חייל מגבול הצפון. הגיעה לאומנה כבר לאחר תקופת היניקה ואכלה רסק פירות.

היא התפתחה יפה ועברה אימוני תעופה בתוך הבית. מארג׳ הפכה להיות חלק מהמשפחה, לקחה חלק פעיל בחיי היום יום, ובשעות החשיכה חיה מחוץ לכלוב. עם הזמן פיתחה ביצועי תעופה וירטואוזים, וכשהביעה רצון לצאת מהבית, עברה לקבוצת הבוגרים בבית המחסה ומשם שוחררה לטבע.

Marge was found by a soldier at the northern border. She arrived at the foster house after the nursing period and ate mashed fruit. She developed nicely and went through flying practice inside the house. Marge became a part of the family, took an active part in everyday life, and at night lives outside of the cage. With time she developed amazing flight skills, and when she expressed a will to go out of the house, she was moved to the adult group and the sanctuary and from there released to nature.
